Hi, I’m CINDY, the owner & principal planner of Wonder Chic Events. I love being able to share in the love of two individuals and feel grateful to get to work with such wonderful couples each wedding season!
Based out of GTA, Ontario, I’ve been planning and coordinating weddings for over six years now. I’m always asked how I got started in this crazy world of wedding planning. And to be honest, it was very much because I loved the idea of having my own business coupled with my job of celebrating life’s milestones… and okay, it was also a whole lot of “Rich Bride, Poor Bride” and “Wedding SOS” episodes on TV that sparked my curiosity and interest!
I’m the type of planner who holds out my hand for you (if you have gum in your mouth, no garbage can in sight, and have a photoshoot to get to right away!), makes sure your venue sets out the proper napkins (because yes, white and ivory are two distinct shades of colour); and I’m also the type of planner who is just completely overcome with emotion when it comes to your “first look,” the walk down the aisle, your first dance (and parent dances too, if that’s your jam!) and the heartfelt, funny, loving speeches delivered by those who care about you most.
When I’m not busy planning a celebration, you can find me enjoying tapas and cocktails, exploring coffee shops and enjoying a k-drama or two (or more)!
