Fete Chinoise

A few weekends ago, we attended the much anticipated Fete Chinoise event, which brought together some of the best of Toronto’s event artists to create an unforgettable showcase of the Chinese traditions passed on from one generation to the next and celebrated in life’s events and weddings within the Chinese culture.

All proceeds from the event were generously donated to Mon Sheong Foundation– dedicated to promoting the Chinese language, culture, heritage and philosophy.

Our first stop was the “Penjing Porcelain Garden” at Shangri Las Outdoor Garden Terrace.

Bumping into old friends never go out of style. 🙂

Entertainment that evening included a lion dance by Wushu Project as we nibble on appetizers and cocktails as well as the musical talents of Parliament Music where we enjoyed listening to some favourite tunes.

A gorgeous cake display from Bobette & Belle.

An evening isn’t quite the same without a fave wedding industry gal pal – fun times with Poonam of P.S. Eventful!

Never had Hong Kong style milk tea poured through a stocking…. I was so excited. And it was oh-so-good.

Gorgeous stationary from the Producer of the show, Palettera.

Only our favourite room of the whole exhibition! Produced by Jackie O Florals & Events and Bliss Events.
