Hope you are all well! As the 2016 comes to a close, we are taking a small break to refocus and plan for the year ahead. We finished off our event season with a high note for The Sharleez Fashion Show Gala (which we’ll share in another post!) and as we reflect back to this past year, we couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunities that came our way, the couples who entrusted us with their big day and the love that we got to join in and celebrate!
S+S’s wedding in particular was a very special one. Right off the bat, I knew it was going to be a good time, with a couple who has such great energy and humour. Their wedding took place at an O&B (one of Toronto’s top caterers) venue – Lennox Hall at the Toronto Region Board of Trade. We had a wonderful time working with the staff at the hall, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Here’s a few photos of the day:
The Ceremony Setup:
The registration table: for gifts, guest book signing, wish box and “circle a word in the dictionary” that you feel best represents the couple. S+S had a love and penchant for words. And they personalized their wedding with many fun and witty phrases, such as…
“Alcohol! Because no great story EVER began with a salad.”
“Our wedding will feature an open bar. It will also be heavily photographed, so any drunken shenanigans will be well documented and thoroughly mocked for years to come.”
“Trust me; you can dance.”

Thank you very much to my awesome awesome assistant Chelsey for all these great pics and setting up a beautiful sweet table for our couple, while I managed the logistics with the other vendors and coordinated the family photos. Wedding coordination is not a one (wo)man show and it certainly takes a great team to pull off an awesome wedding!
We’re very excited for what’s to come in 2017, including our first wedding with a dog as the ring bearer… super stoked and ready for the challenge! We plan to make 2017 a fun year and cannot wait to plan a baby shower that has been in the talks for a very special mom-to-be – you might recognize her from our previous posts 🙂 *hint hint*
