Their magazine is top of the industry and appeals to luxury couples as well as couples seeking inspiration for a similar aesthetic. Tremendous amount of work is poured into producing an event and although my first WedLuxe Show (with a Parisian theme) will probably forever be my favourite, and although I am a bit bummed that I missed out on last year’s 2015 WedLuxe Show – I still appreciated the many little details I came across in this year’s installment, titled: “La Dolce Vita” drawing inspiration from the beautiful cities and towns of Italy – which happens to also be one of my favourite places in the world in terms of food and beauty!
Four Seasons had a giveaway! Poonam of P.S. Eventful and I snapped a pic and entered it… but I guess we didn’t win. Better luck next time 🙂
And of course our favourite invitations and stationary magic-makers: Ferris Wheel Press.
We love it when artists go the extra mile and create a creative concept and theme around their booth – here is Nadia & Co.’s visually stunning and playful setup of a bubble bath scene displaying their detailed and unique cakes.
Flower shopping is always a good time! Here we are at the “Palazzo Floreale Flower Market” designed by Teatro Verde with flowers from Royal Flowers Ecuador. We picked up the latest copy of the Wedluxe Magazine as well as a pretty red or pink bloom. In true Wonder Chic fashion – we naturally went straight for the pink!
San Remo Florist‘s display with beautiful soft floral and hanging tea light holders really caught our attention. Lighting makes an incredible difference to the look and feel of your wedding – so be sure to invest if you want the details and elements to really shine through.
An event is not a fabulous one without fantastic food. We were treated to delicious gnocchi by the talented chefs of O&B Catering – one of the finest caterers in Toronto.
Chairs are an often overlooked element to the look and design of your wedding. Featured here are the beautiful Louis Ghost chairs by Contemporary Furniture Rentals. You do not have to stick with the hall’s chairs if you don’t want to – these experienced professionals will make sure to carry out your theme with their large selection of furniture and chairs to choose from!
A party without a bar? Not this one! A fun soda pop bar to quench your thirst before you head out. You may want to consider offering a refreshment station as part of your late night table – guests always appreciate a fun factor from the usual open bar! Event production (rigging, installation, etc.) by FireDog Creative, floral design by The Social Rose with flowers from Royal Flowers Ecuador and draping by Eventure Design Inc.
And finally, before we depart from our Italian inspired evening, we bask in the enchanted garden that is “Under The Tuscan Sun” – magically produced by Rachel A. Clingen and her team. This was our favourite installment of the WedLuxe Show and it is for these “wow-factor” inspirations and not-your-everyday wedding themes that keep us coming back for more. The WedLuxe Show is the event industry equivalent of the couture shows in the high fashion industry, so we expect nothing but the best!
We hope your found some wonderful inspiration in this post and we look forward to sharing more ideas with you in future posts. Happy planning! 🙂
